Annie Zubek, LCSW
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating big transitions, self-doubt, or the pressure to keep everything together. You deserve a space where you don’t have to do it all on your own. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that healing happens when you feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood.
I offer a warm, approachable, and relaxed therapeutic style so you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, build resilience, and move toward the version of yourself you’re striving to become.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with training rooted in mental health and a background in community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, domestic violence services, and private practice. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Governors State University, Master’s in Social Work with a mental health specialization from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a specialization in Sports Social Work from Tulane University.
I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults who are facing anxiety, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, or major life transitions. As a younger clinician, I bring both solid clinical knowledge and genuine relatability to the therapeutic process. I’m also a certified sport social worker and enjoy supporting athletes as they navigate the unique pressures, expectations, and mental health challenges of their sport.
